NIGHT WATCH opens Friday, April 3 at the Whidbey Playhouse, 730 S.E. Midway Blvd. in Oak Harbor and closes April 26. Tickets are $16 or less. Show times are 7:30 p.m. for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night performances, and 2:30 p.m. for Sunday matinees. There is no show on Easter Sunday, April 12. Artists from Whidbey Island are invited to display and offer their work for sale at the Island County Historical Museum in Coupeville during ART FOR HISTORY WEEKEND, April 18 and 19, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, 11 to 4 Sunday. Artists will display work of various subjects with a special emphasis on historic buildings or events in Island County history. Karlson/Gray Gallery in Langley presents its second annual INVITATIONAL LANDSCAPE SHOW through April. The show will include perspectives from eight gallery artists that range from traditional to whimsical in a number of different two-dimensional mediums.
