LETTER TO THE EDITOR | ‘Millie’ cast and crew work wonders

Nov 06 2009

To the editor:

I have had the privilege of working with the amazing 40-plus teen cast and crew of “Thoroughly Modern Millie” for the past two months. You will leave with a smile on your face and fully entertained. I agree with Patricia Duff that these talented kids have worked hard and deserve great audiences!

Beyond the wonderful entertainment on the stage, you will experience an amazing team in action working behind the scenes. The production is technically complex and couldn't happen without the 12 dedicated teens working tech and back stage. They have spent hours learning and perfecting their jobs running the light board, spot light, microphones, sound board, projector and the smooth set changes.

I am in awe of their dedication to their jobs and how well they work together supporting each other and the cast. I am honored to be working with this incredible crew of Elijah, Emma, John, Katie, Kevin, Mariah, Megan, Rogelio, Sean, Serena, Walker and Jordan.

I hope you come see these awesome South Whidbey teens both on the stage and behind the scenes!
