LETTER TO THE EDITOR | This is a can’t-miss show

Nov 05 2009

To the editor:

Do you yearn for some light-hearted fun? Treat yourself to “Thoroughly Modern Millie” - a collaboration between South Whidbey High School and Whidbey Children's Theater. The students really get into their roles, hamming it up to the cheering delight of the audience. Singing, tap-dancing, drama, great costumes from the '20s, even some acrobatics and a Chinese language lesson...it is a kick!

I guarantee you'll leave with a smile on your face and a new appreciation of the enormous talent the directors were able to showcase. Vote for more of this wonderful fun with your attendance. (It's been five years since the last large-scale musical production at SWHS.)

Only one weekend left.

Nov. 5 and 7 at 7:30 p.m. and a matinee on Nov. 8 at 2 p.m. (There is no show on Friday, Nov. 6.)

Thursday, Nov. 5 will be family night with all tickets only $5.

Tickets for all other shows are $12 for adults and $8 for students and seniors. Tickets are available at the door. All performances at the South Whidbey High School Auditorium, located at 5675 South Maxwelton Road outside of Langley.
