LETTER TO THE EDITOR | PSE’s work will continue on island

Nov 19 2008

To the editor:

The employees of Puget Sound Energy extend appreciation to our Whidbey customers for the support and confidence demonstrated in the Nov. 4 vote on the proposed PUD.

We did our best to provide information and are grateful for your trust. Please know that we will continue to work toward improving our traditional and energy efficiency services on Whidbey so that your confidence in PSE will only increase in the years ahead. If you have suggestions or comments about our service, please share them with me.

We enjoyed seeing many of you at the open house and Green Halloween bash at our new South Whidbey office and would like to invite you to upcoming workshops and other educational programs in Freeland, some of which also will be offered in Coupeville or Oak Harbor.

At 10 a.m. on Dec. 6, Andy Wappler, former KIRO weatherman and now PSE spokesman, will talk about energy efficiency, and on Dec. 13 a PSE specialist will discuss selecting and installing home back-up generators. Please watch this newspaper for more details coming soon.
