To the editor:

It is with great pleasure that we have the opportunity to thank all the volunteers, judges, participants, vendors and sponsors for their hard work.

The 2008 Island County Fair was a great success for so many reasons and the list would be too long to print. From the parking to the livestock auction, to the log show and on to the animals; and of course, what would be a fair without a corn dog. Our hat goes off to the superintendents and all of the great people that had entries.

Thank you all for your contributions. What a great community that we all love and share.
