Bike hosts a Doors tribute
Nov 10 2009
The American Night, a touring tribute act from Seattle, will treat Vashon to a live recreation of a concert by The Doors at 9:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14.
The American Night is a well-known tribute act that tours throughout the Pacific Northwest, using authentic instruments, costumes and psychedelic lighting to recreate the experience of a live Doors concert.
The stop at The Red Bicycle will be the first time the band has traveled to Vashon.
“We hear there are a lot of true blue Doors fans on Vashon, and we can’t wait to perform for them,” said Nathan Chrisitan, the band’s lead singer. “The band has heard great things about the vibe there. We are really excited about this show.”
This show has a $5 cover at the door and is open to all ages until 11 p.m. After that, the show is for ages 21 and older only.
