Federal Way's Thomas takes over Auburn Riverside football program

Federal Way assistant coach Bryant Thomas has been named Auburn Riverside's new head football coach.
For the past six years, Thomas has coached at Federal Way as an offensive coordinator for five seasons and as the Eagles' defensive coordinator in 2012.
Prior to coaching at the high school level Thomas was an assistant at Idaho State University. He also has worked with the Seattle Seahawks and Washington State University.
“I am excited about the opportunity of becoming the head football coach at Auburn Riverside High School and look forward to continue building a program that the school and community will be proud of,” Thomas said.
Thomas will teach social studies at Auburn Riverside.
“Bryant Thomas is a quality individual who has had success wherever he has been. We are very excited to have him as part of the staff at Auburn Riverside.” said Auburn Riverside Athletic Director Doug Aubert said.
Thomas replaces Bob Morgan who was the Ravens' head coach for six years.
