Longtime Enumclaw High wrestling coach Lee Reichert announces his retirement

Longtime Enumclaw High wrestling coach Lee Reichert has announced his retirement.
Also stepping down will his longtime assistant, Guy Hanson.
Contacted at home Friday afternoon, Reichert confirmed he has coached his final match for the Hornets.
Reichert departs after 18 successful seasons at EHS, where his teams were frequently among the best in the state.
The past six seasons have been remarkable.
Reichert guided the Hornets to back-to-back Class 3A state championships in 2008 and 2009, after being named 3A state coach of the year in 2007. Enumclaw narrowly missed a third straight title in 2010, finishing second to Yelm. The Hornets bounced back with two more state championships in 2011 and 2012 before placing fourth at the 2013 Mat Classic three weeks ago.
Reichert came to Enumclaw from Kentwood, where he Conquerors won three consecutive 4A titles from 1991-93.
In all, Reichert coach high school wrestling for 37 years.
