Football playoff preview: Liberty

Liberty plays at Camas Saturday at 6 p.m.

Camas

Intro: The Papermakers went 7-2 and finished second in the Greater St. Helens League.

Best win: Camas shutout the third-place GSHL team Columbia River 21-0 Oct. 9.

Worst loss: The Papermakers led late against Union but allowed 21 points in the fourth quarter and lost Oct. 30.

Trend: Even. Camas dominated the four games before Union, so it shouldn't be too down after a tough loss to a good team.

Extra point: These two teams have similar strengths as both boast great talent at quarterback and the skill positions, with strong line play.

Bottom line: Both of these offenses can put up points quickly and it will be interesting to see how football in different parts of the state stacks up.
