A local folk band, Erwilian, plans to release its new album 'Midwinter's Night' at the Renton Civic Theater, Nov. 20-21.

Erwilian shapes their unique sonic blend around traditional melodies with distinctly modern influences. Instruments range form recorders, dulcimers, and guitars to the more unusual, bouzouki and didgeridoo.

The band believes their music is meant to be played as an ensemble.

These two concerts are being sponsored by the non-profit 4Culture.

Both shows start at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets for the Friday and Saturday event are $15 for general admission an $12 for students and seniors. They're available at the Civic Theater, cash and checks only. The address is 507 South Third Street, Renton.
