People’s Choice Curvee goes to ‘I Am Renton’

Renton Reporter Publisher Ellen Morrison, left, presented the Renton FilmFrenzy II People’s Choice Award to filmmakers Nate Jones, center, and Rob Anderson, at right, for their “I Am Renton.” The presentation was made at Monday night’s Renton City Council meeting. The award was sponsored by the Renton Reporter, with online voting done at rentonreporter.com. “I Am Renton” received 688 votes out of the roughly 1,500 votes cast during the voting period. All movies shot for the Renton FilmFrenzy are still available for viewing at rentonreporter. com. Film Frenzy will return next year, with the goal of making it one of the premiere film festivals in the region.
