The Kent 11-12 Little League All-Star team continued its hot play on Wednesday night, knocking off Federal Way National, 10-7, at Sunset Park in Auburn.

Kade Kryzsko delivered big for Kent, allowing just two runs in 4 2/3 innings of work on the mound and also belting a home run in the third inning. Kramer Sims also flexed some muscle at the plate with a pair of home runs while Andrew Spring chipped in one of his own.

It was Kent’s third straight win at the district tournament.

Kent opened with an 8-2 win over Federal Way, a game in which Spring blasted two home runs. Kent followed with an 11-7 win over Steel Lake, a game in which Sims drilled two home runs. Mike Ciancio and Kryzsko also homered in the win over Steel Lake.

With the three wins, Kent advances to the district championship game, which is slated for 10 a.m. on Saturday (July 18) at Sunset Park in Auburn. As of press time, Kent’s opponent had not been decided.
