June 17 the last day of school for Kent - what you need to know

Summer is almost here and the school year is coming to an end.

This year, the last day of school comes a week later than originally scheduled due to the December snowstorms that shut down the region and the Kent School District.

The last day of school for pre-school students is June 17, and the last day for kindergarten classes is June 22.

Classes end early on June 23 for all other KSD students.

Elementary Schools

All elementary schools will dismiss three hours earlier than regular dismissal times. Buses leave elementary schools five minutes after dismissal.

Middle Schools and High Schools

Buses leave middle and high schools seven minutes after dismissal.

All middle schools are dismissed at 12:01 p.m.

High schools are dismissed at 11:10 a.m.

The TOPS program at K-M is dismissed at 1:00 p.m.

Academies

Kent Mountain View Academy students are dismissed at 11:10 a.m.

Kent Phoenix Academy students are dismissed at 12:05 p.m.
