Federal Way teen and horse just keep on winning

Lauren Lang and her horse, Rum Brook Immortal Mystic, continued their dominance at the Grand National and World Championship Morgan Horse Show in Oklahoma City.
Lang has been riding horses since the summer of 2005 and in her four times competing at the Morgan Horse Show, she has won a championship in every trip to Oklahoma City. Lang has won three world championship titles, one reserve world championship, four grand national titles and three grand national finals.
This year, Lang won the Grand National Classic Pleasure Saddle 12-13-year-old class for the third year in a row.
She also won the Grand National Classic Pleasure Driving 13 and under class, the World Championship Classic Pleasure Driving Junior Exhibitor championship 17 and under class and also the Reserve World champions in the Classic Pleasure Saddle 13 and under class.
Lang has won all the titles aboard her horse, Rum Brook Immortal Mystic. The horse is 17 years old and has won 16 Grand National and World Championship titles during its career.
Lang attends Federal Way High School and is a ninth-grader in the Cambridge program. She is the daughter of Cary and Jennifer Lang. She rides out of Fire Run Farm in Snohomish under the direction of Elra Tonkin.
