2009 Federal Way Rotary Scholarship recipients

Every year, the Federal Way Rotary Club awards scholarships to graduating high school seniors based on their financial need, scholastic achievements, leadership skills and service to the community. This year, the Federal Way Rotary will award $26,000 among 16 Federal Way high school students. The Rotary Scholarship Class of 2009 includes Megan Hestir from Decatur High School; Diana Aleshchenko, Logan Birgenheier, Jessica Heinmiller, Alisha Leano, Jordan Sitzler, Ashley Soria and Jazmine Troutt from Federal Way High School; Ahjin Kim, Jessica Oscoy and Agnes Shin from Thomas Jefferson High School; April Alfiler, Joshua Broadway, Christine Cho and Tameka Thomas from Todd Beamer High School; and Laurel Biesek from Truman High School.
