Jul 27 2009

Manuel Martinez races his 6-year-old son Anthony across the finish line at Saturday morning's second annual Enumclaw Street Fair 5K run. His wife Michelle and their 4-year-old daughter Melanie also participated in the event. Approximately 186 runners turned out with Kenny Krotzer, a senior at Auburn Riverside High School, crossing the finish line first in 16 minutes, 59 seconds. He was the overall winner as well as the top youth male. The male adult winner was Paul Mueller from Albany, N.Y., who was visiting family here, Enumclaw High senior Carissa Gwerder, who was the top youth female finisher and Joan Eilertson, who was the first to cross the line in the women's division.
