Enumclaw juniors earn math, science awards

Enumclaw High School juniors Meghan Atkinson, Justine Dunham and Allison Smith will receive awards respectively in science, math and technology from the American Association of University Women (AAUW) Southeast King County Branch May 21.

Students were nominated by their teachers.

Enumclaw High has participated in the scholar program for several years.

This is the seventh year the Southeast King County Branch of AAUW has sponsored this award, which recognizes young woman who excel in the areas of science, math and technology and encourages them to pursue careers in those fields.
