• Black Diamond tree lighting

Mountain View Fire & Rescue/Black Diamond Fire Department will be brining Santa to the Black Diamond Community for the annual tree lighting, 7 p.m. Dec. 4.

• Holiday Engine/Santa food drive 2009

People can donate new, unwrapped toys and food for local food banks. The crews will be out from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. each night.

• Dec 11 – Highland Meadows, and 101 Pines

• Dec 13 – Black Diamond (Lawson Hills, Morgan Creek, and Cedar Brook Mobil)

Drop off new, unwrapped toys and food at King County Fire District No. 44 fire station.

There are four fire stations in the district where people can drop of toys and food for local food banks. We will be accepting these donations from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, until Dec. 14. This will allow us to get the items to the food bank for people in need. People may drop food and toys off at the following locations:

• Station 92: 31709 Kent Black Diamond Rd. Auburn

• Station 95: 32316 148th Ave. S.E., Auburn

• Station 96: 19317 SE 384th St., Auburn

• Station 98: 22015 SE 296th St., Black Diamond
