King County Elections updated the results from the Tuesday general election, and two local races are still too close to call.

The Black Diamond race for mayor between incumbent Howard Botts and challenger Rebecca Olness narrowed by four votes.

Olness is leading with 415, 50.61 percent and Botts has 402, 49.02 percent.

Tuesday evening Olness held a 3 vote edge and it expanded to 17 Wednesday. Today it closed to 13.

In Maple Valley, the only race left undecided is between Jim Flynn and Bill Allison for Position No. 2.

Allison widened his lead today with 1,876 votes, 52 percent to 1,742 for Flynn at 48 percent. The 134 vote spread is up from 119 yesterday and 93 election night.

In the other City Council contests in Maple Valley, Stanette Marie Rose conceded to Victoria Laise Jonas yesterday in the Position No. 6 race. Jonas leads with 2,300 and 65 percent and Rose has 1,218, 34 percent.

Erin Weaver appears to have won the Position No. 4 race over incumbent David Pilgrim.

Weaver leads with 2,113, 60 percent and Pilgrim has 1,377, 39 percent.

In the Black Diamond City Council race Craig Goodwin looks to have an insurmountable lead over incumbent Geoff Bowie for Position No. 2.

Goodwin leads with 504 votes and 66 percent to 255 and 34 percent for Bowie.

William Saas appears to be on his way to the Council in the Position No. 4 race. Saas leads with 433 votes and 55 percent over Jim Kuzaro with 347 and 44 percent.

Proposition No. 1, a public safety services replacement levy, was failing by a slim margin Wednesday, but switched back to passing today with 415 yes vote, 52.36 percent and 409 no votes, 49.64 percent. Yesterday it was failing by two votes.
