A 21-year-old Maple Valley woman, Sarah Kearney, sustained life-threatening injuries during a hit-and-run crash Tuesday, and the state patrol is asking anyone with information to come forward.
The crash happened at about 12:30 a.m. Tuesday on eastbound state Route 18, west of state Route 516.
A state patrol press release stated the woman was airlifted from the scene to "Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries."
According to Trooper Dan McDonald the state patrol wants to find the driver of the other vehicle involved in the collision.
McDonald said the state patrol believe the vehicle is a "late 90s or early 2000 Isuzu flatbed, landscape-style truck."
The press release stated the troopers found the woman's 2007 white Mustang with two black racing stripes, "blocking the right lane just before the exit to SR-516."
There was extensive damage to the driver's side of the vehicle.
McDonald said troopers thought initially the woman may have rear ended the other vehicle, but further investigation has brought new evidence to light.
"We want to talk to the driver of the vehicle," McDonald said.
The state patrol is asking anyone with information to call Detective Ruth Medeiros at (425)401-7719.
