King County Library summer reading programs

Preschoolers and school-age children who are looking for ways to keep interested and busy this summer and sharpen their reading skills the King County Library System has the program.

• Be Creative @ Your Library – the 2009 Summer Reading Program through August 31.

Read 500 minutes and receive a half-way prize; read 1000 and receive the finisher prize and be eligible for the grand prize drawing of a laptop computer. Prizes distributed beginning July 15. Grand prize winner will be announced in September.

• Teens check out the Summer Edition of Read Three, Get One Free!

Read three books, write a review for each and get a free book and earn great prizes, too.
