Holiday lights event in Covington's Foxwood neighborhood

The Foxwood neighborhood in Covington located near 256th Street and 175th Way S.E. is having a holiday lights event, 7-10 p.m., Friday, Dec. 18.

There will be hayrides to view the decorated homes and warm fire pits to warm yourself along the route with coffee provided by Cutter’s Point in Covington. There will also be hot cocoa, goodies, candy canes and Christmas caroling sponsored by Liberty Ridge Church.

Admission for the hayrides is nonperishable food items that will be donated to the food bank at Covington Christian Fellowship. Parking will be available at the Foursquare Church at 17310 S.E. 256th St.

Participants will also have a chance to vote on the best decorated home and all are welcome
