Auburn library to hold panel meeting on First Amendment

King County libraries will host panel discussions on the First Amendment.
The panels run from 7 to 9 p.m. in meeting rooms in libraries at Auburn, Bellevue, Burien and Woodinville. The Auburn, Burien and Woodinville events will be on Wednesday, Constitution Day.
The Auburn Public Library is located at 1102 Auburn Way S.
Constitution Day was established in 2002 to provide education on the history of the American Constitution. The topic for these panel discussions is the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution: The freedom to speak.
Speakers who will appear in the program are: Supreme Court Justice Charles Johnson, State Rep. Dave Upthegrove and Bob Hasegawa, King County Council members Dow Constantine and Larry Philips, attorneys Robert Cumbow and Judy Endejan, Seattle Times investigative editor James Neff, Reclaim the Media executive director Jonathan Lawson, Founder of Global Voices Radio Paul Nelson and others.
Not all speakers will appear at each location.
