Man 'wigs out,' slashes daughter's tires | Auburn Police Blotter

Auburn police responded to the following calls for service between July 13 and July 11:

July 13

Assault: 3:05 p.m., 29800 Green River Road S.E. A dispute between two groups of golfers at the Auburn Municipal Golf Course ended when a man from one group whacked a man from the other group in the head with a golf club. Police arrested the assailant on scene and an ambulance transported the victim to Harborview Medical Center with a possible skull fracture.

No way to treat your ma: 3:30 a.m., 3700 block of D Street Southeast. Police arrested a guy for domestic violence after he shoved his mother.

Burglary: 12:30 p.m., 3410 A St. S.E. Unknown persons burglarized a commercial building by climbing on the roof with a ladder and popping through a door on the roof. Although the bad guys rummaged through several tool boxes and desk drawers police don’t know what they stole.

Mad dad: 6:58 p.m., 800 block of 45th Street Northeast. A man wigged out during a dispute with his daughter and slashed the tires on her vehicle, meriting an arrest for domestic violence and malicious mischief.

July 12

Bomb threat: 7:08 a.m., 25 E. Main St. An Auburn jail inmate made a written bomb threat.

See pickup, steal pickup, crash pickup: 1:10 p.m., 4537 Auburn Way N. Employees of a used car sales business saw a man steal a blue and white 1969 GMC pickup from their lot then crash it into a U-Haul truck shortly thereafter in his attempt to escape from the consequences of his wrongdoing.

Assault: 4:20 p.m., 2402 Auburn Way S. Police arrested a woman after she slapped her husband and kicked security at the Muckleshoot Casino. Police did not offer a motivation for said slapping and kicking.

Assault: 3 p.m., 1200 block of 22nd Street Southeast. A woman told police that her boyfriend dragged her out of her car while it was parked in her driveway and then drove it to Tacoma without her permission.

Theft from vehicle: 8:34 p.m, 1300 block of Auburn Way North. A man returned to his car to find a person stealing his GPS from the dashboard. The surprised thief then hopped into a nearby car and fled the scene at a high rate of speed.

Assault: 12:30 a.m., 1330 block of 3rd Street Southeast. Two subjects tried to crash a guy’s private party, and when he informed them they weren’t welcome assaulted him.

July 11

Theft from motor vehicle: 5:59 p.m., 902 Supermall Way S.W. Somebody stole a GPS system from a vehicle at the Supermall Theaters. No value was given.

Vandalism: 8:15 p.m., 710 Auburn Way S.Police arrested a male for malicious mischief after he threw a booze-fueled hissy fit, breaking a glass door at Taco Bell and denting three cars in the parking lot. The guy freaked out because his girlfriend, an employee, had refused to give his intoxicated self his car keys.

Robbery: 9:21 p.m., 1700 block of Auburn Way South. A male person told police that four guys he didn’t know robbed him. Police didn’t say whether the four robbers got away with anything or if they used a weapon.
