Auburns Don Stevenson is walking 13,000 miles to raise awareness and funds for Huntingtons disease. He left Seattle last week to complete the final 3,000-mile leg to New York City.
Stevenson, 72, the Pacin Parson, hopes to raise more than $20,000 for HD, an inherited, progressively degenerative brain disorder.
Start: Space Needle, Seattle, April 26
Finish: New York Citys Empire State Building, Sept. 15.
En route: To Spokane, following U.S. Highway 2.
