Water course for real estate professionals
Apr 14 2009
“Water in San Juan County,” a for-credit course for real estate professionals, is being offered April 24 in the San Juan Island Fire Department headquarters station on Mullis Street.
The full-day course is presented by Friends of the San Juans, the San Juan County Marine Resources Committee and the San Juan Island Association of Realtors.
Presenters will provide the latest science and policy on stormwater, waste water and freshwater resources in San Juan County.
Significant policy changes are under way at the state and local level in the management of water resources. The “Water in San Juan County” realtor workshop approaches stormwater, waste water and freshwater resources from scientific, regulatory, property owner and developer perspectives.
The locally developed workshop provides real estate professionals information on the science behind water resource policies, an overview of local conditions and implications for property management and development.
The for-credit “Water in San Juan County” realtor workshop is free for San Juan Island Association of Realtor members and $60 for non-members.
Pre-registration is required. To register, contact Tim Gambrell at 378-2101 or tim@sanjuanislands.com.
