The Port of Orcas will hold its regular meeting at 7 p.m.
Friday, May 15
EPRC annual report to the planning commission, 8:45 a.m., Eastsound Fire Station.
Planning Commission Meeting, 10 a.m., Multi Purpose Room, Orcas Senior Center.
Saturday, May 16
OPALCO’s 72nd Annual Meeting will be held on the ferry. Members from San Juan Island will board the ferry at 8:25 a.m.; Orcas Island at 10:20 a.m.; Shaw Island at 10:35 a.m.; and Lopez Island at 11 a.m. For the full travel schedule, go to www.opalco.com. During the meeting two directors from District 2 (Orcas, Armitage, Big Double, Blakely, Fawn, Little Double, and Obstruction islands) will be elected for three-year terms.
Monday, May 18
Council work session, 10 a.m. to noon, Legislative Hearing Room, 55 Second Street, Friday Harbor.
Agricultural Resources Committee regular meeting, noon to 2 p.m., Whidbey Island Bank Community Room, 535 Market St, Friday Harbor.
San Juan County Council will conduct a Special Joint Meeting with the Critical Areas Ordinance Committee in the Council Hearing Room at 55 Second Street, Friday Harbor beginning at 8:30 a.m.
Tuesday, May 19
Regular Council Meeting, 10 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., Legislative Hearing Room, 55 Second Street, Friday Harbor.
Wednesday, May 20
Hearing Examiner Public Hearing, 9:30 a.m., Key Bank, Friday Harbor.
County Council Members Richard Fralick, District 4, Orcas West and Gene Knapp, District 5, Orcas East and County Administrator Pete Rose are holding a Town Hall Meeting at the Eastound Fire Station from 4 to 6 p.m.
