Bugs 'n beer at the Insect Safari

Don Ehlen brings his world famous Insect Safari to the Doe Bay Café for a free show on Saturday, Nov. 21 from 5 to 7 p.m. A reception and no host bar will also available during the event.
With over 3000 specimens, Insect Safari is the largest traveling arthropod museum in North America. Luminescent butterflies, psychedelic beatles, scary spiders, plus live scorpions and stick bugs you can meet in person.
Ehlen has been teaching his unique entomology program for over a decade at schools, libraries and museums and is a regular contributor on KUOW. Children and adults respond with equal enthusiasm to Ehlen's maverick style and amazing bug facts. If you have a bug question or a specimen you want to identify, =bring it along.
