Volunteers sought for Stormwater Advisory Committee

The San Juan County Council is seeking volunteers for the Citizen’s Stormwater Advisory Committee. The purpose of the committee is to provide advice to the County Council and make recommendations on matters pertaining to storm water, including capital facilities, projects, priorities of projects and other policy matters related to the operation of an effective stormwater utility.

Seven members will be appointed, one from each council member district, and one member at large. Each member shall be appointed for a term of four years, the dates of which shall coincide with the full term of the respective council member district.
