THE NEWS TRIBUNE: Man charged with growing marijuana underground in South Prairie area

A 52-year-old man was charged Friday, July 17 with unlawful manufacturing of a controlled substance while armed with a firearm and unlawful possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver while armed with a firearm, after Pierce County sheriff's deputies found a large underground marijuana grow operations in the South Prairie area last week, according to The News Tribune.
