Marysville Fire District responds to fire

MARYSVILLE – At approximately 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 14, Marysville Fire District crews were dispatched to reports of a vacant house on fire in the area of the 1500 block of Sunnyside Boulevard. Those reporting were unsure of the address, but crews could see a column of smoke in the area. The first arriving crew found heavy smoke from the boarded up windows of the two story home. The fire was contained to the second story and rapidly extinguished.
Snohomish County Fire Marshal’s office conducted an investigation and estimated damages to be $30,000.
Fire personnel from Lake Stevens, Getchell, Granite Falls and Tulalip Bay assisted in suppression efforts.
