Red Robin raises funds for the Marysville Fire District
Mar 14 2007
MARYSVILLE Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, Inc., celebrated the grand opening of its Marysville, Wash., location by raising $2,553.50 for the Marysville Fire District.
The Marysville Red Robin(R) restaurant is located at 16814 Twin Lakes Ave., by Target and Costco, on the West side of I-5. Red Robin is a casual dining restaurant chain focused on serving an innovative selection of high-quality gourmet burgers in a family-friendly atmosphere.
As part of the restaurant companys ongoing commitment to its local communities, the Marysville restaurant donated 50 cents from every gourmet burger sold during grand opening week, Feb. 12 to 18, to the Marysville Fire District. The Marysville Fire District will use the funds to help support its fire safety programs for the Marysville, Tulalip, Seven Lakes, Smokey Point, and Lakewood communities.
On behalf of the Marysville Fire District, I would like to thank Red Robin for its generous support and donation, said Jerry Jacobsen, fire marshal for the Marysville Fire District. The money raised during the restaurants opening will help us better educate community members on the importance of fire safety.
We appreciate the Marysville Fire Districts efforts to keep the community safe from fire emergencies, said Eric Houseman, Red Robin president and chief operating officer. We want to thank everyone who came to the restaurant during opening week to show their support it was a true community effort.
