Noise at the library
Noiseguy Charlie Williams will present Loud at the Library at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 29. This guy roars like a lion, sings like a mermaid and flushes like a toilet. Kids and their families will be encouraged to laugh out loud with this vocal sound impressionist, kids’ comedian and author. Supported by the Friends of the Arlington Library, at 135 N. Washington Ave.

Giving Circle
The following groups have formed a “Giving Circle” to assist those Native Americans living at Rosebud and Pineridge Indian Reservations. As many of you know they have just recently come through a terrible blizzard and many were without heat and electricity for two to three weeks. Transportation came to a standstill because the snow plows were getting stuck. In some places there is limited power.
The following groups have gotten together and are collecting clothing, blankets, shoes, boots, and cash donations. For further information please contact Robin Carneen at the Tulalip Boys & Girls Club.

Old Time Fiddlers
The Old Time Fiddlers meets on the Friday evenings of Jan. 9 and Jan. 23 at the old Arlington High School, 135 S. French St., Arlington. There will be no jam on Dec. 26. Celtic jam is at 5 p.m., workshop at 6 p.m., and circle jam begins at 7 p.m. Music, jamming and snacks throughout the evening. Free family entertainment; listeners and acoustic musicians of all ages (and their instruments) welcome.
