Arlington, Marysville chambers, community members turn out for Eaglesnest ribbon-cutting

MARYSVILLE — Members of the Greater Marysville Tulalip and Arlington-Smokey Point chambers of commerce joined other community groups, and city of Marysville Mayor Dennis Kendall, at a July 10 ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house for Eaglesnest Secretarial Service, Inc., at its office in Suite B of 1416 Eighth St.

Sheila Frazier, president and owner of Eaglesnest, explained that it's "a back-office support business," designed to handle the work of other businesses when their secretaries get sick or go on vacation. What sets Eaglesnest apart from a temp agency is that its staff handles other businesses' overflow work in its own office.

"People can e-mail, fax, phone or deliver their work to us in person, and we can complete their projects here, from start to finish, in a timely fashion," said Frazier, who added that her office can collate, staple or hole-punch, and mail that work back to those businesses.

Although Frazier's staff currently consists of herself and one employee, she boasted a wide variety of services available at Eaglesnest, including resumes for $75 and notary public services, as well as a conference room that's available for meetings and depositions, but not birthday parties.

"We're willing to go that extra mile for our customers," Frazier said. "If that means we stay late, then we'll stay late."

Eaglesnest is open Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., but appointments can be scheduled after hours, on weekends and during holidays.
