Lights of Christmas adds new features

WARM BEACH — More than 1 million Christmas lights will again be on display in northern Snohomish County in December.
The Lights of Christmas, a holiday-themed event that takes place at Warm Beach Camp in Stanwood, is adding a new third theater stage and a new light scene this year.
The month-long celebration takes place from
5-10 p.m. Dec. 3-6, 9-13, 16-23 and 26-29.
Single admission for The Lights of Christmas is $14 for adults aged 13-59, $9 for seniors aged 60 and up and military and $8 for children aged 4-12.
Children aged 3 and under are free.
In addition to its light displays that stretch across the camp’s 15 acres, the Christmas event features live music, crafts, food, pony rides, a petting farm and Polar Express train rides.
Visitors will also be able to meet Santa Claus or talk with “Bruce the Spruce,” a joke-telling Christmas tree.
The Lights of Christmas also offers three stages of theater performances.
Three productions — “Christmas Moon,” “Miracles on Candy Cane Lane” and “Uff Da! It’s Christmas,” will be available for attendees to watch.
“Christmas” and “Miracles” are available to guests for an additional cost, but “Uff Da!,” the newest production, is free with paid admission.
The newest holiday light scene, The Sunset, will feature a 1,200-square-foot animated light scene that depicts a sunset over Camano Island.
Guests can also opt to stay over night at the camp.
The Lights of Christmas now in its 13th year and draws approximately 50,000 people each year.
Warm Beach Camp is located at 20800 Marine Drive, Stanwood.
