Manny was born and raised in Germany. She graduated from business/economics school in Germany in 1990 and studied to be a legal assistant. Love brought her to the U.S. in 1993. Manny joined The Marysville Globe and Arlington Times team in 2003 after working in retail management. Working with clients to advertise their business is something she very much enjoys. |

Sports Reporter Travis Sherer 360 659-1300 |
Travis has been involved with sports journalism, public relations and game operations since graduating Western Washington University in 2005. As a sports reporter, Travis won the 2007 Washington Newspaper Publishers Association award for Best Sports Column during his two years at the Lynden Tribune. In his off time, he works in statistic crews for the Seattle Sounders and University of Washington, where he was a sports information director for a year. And he loves enchiladas. |

Adam studied journalism at Western Washington University, graduating in 2006. He has worked as a reporter ever since. He currently covers all things Arlington for the Arlington Times and Marysville Globe. He in a native Washingtonian and originally hails from Olympia. Creative Manager Ray Colvin 360-659-1300 |
Ray Colvin has been in the creative department at The Marysville Globe since August 2005. He graduated with a graphic arts degree from Western Washington University in 1994. He has spent the previous 15 years working in various aspects of the graphic arts industry, ranging from screen printing, narrow web-press printing, vinyl graphics and digital printing. His work at The Arlington Times includes designing newspaper ads, sales packages and pagination. The technology and methods used for the creation of the newspaper is constantly changing. Ray views these changes as new challenges and enjoys the problem solving component in creating solutions to the emerging technological changes. |

After studying in the S.I. Newhouse School of Communications at Syracuse University, Kirk Boxleitner trained to be a Navy Journalist at the Defense Information School, where he received his print and broadcast certifications in 1997. His seven years in the service included stints overseas, in Japan and Italy, as well as on board USS Theodore Roosevelt, where he took part in Operations Enduring and Iraqi Freedom. He joined the staff of The Marysville Globe in 2004, and has worked as a reporter for the Globe and The Arlington Times ever since. |

Fran has been in the newspaper/printing industry since the early 70s. He has been with The Arlington Times since 2001 creating ads, doing pagination and website maintenance. He often jokes about being "born with ink in his veins." He is a native Washingtonian, growing up in eastern Washington and relocating to this side of the mountains in the early 80s. Fran loves the everyday challenges of creating ads, learning new software and especially new technology. |
