Having a ball at Aegis of Bothell's fifth-anniversary celebration

Jul 21 2010

Aegis of Bothell's retirement community celebrated its fifth-anniversary celebration on Tuesday with a beach-party theme. Aegis resident Betty Bridges got into the spirit by tossing a beach ball with Aegis activities director Asha Grinnell, who was joined at the party by husband, Stuart.

Also pictured is Hirna Mellsie, 5, enjoying the sun and a hula hoop. Hirna's mom, Misrak, is a nurse at Aegis. Behind Hirna is the musical entertainment for the evening, the Birdwatchers, who cranked out a steady stream of '50s and '60s oldies.
