The Rock is ready to roll with fund-raisers

Rock Wood Fired Pizza and Spirits (1918 201st Place S.E., Bothell) will hold a fund-raiser to benefit the Multiple Sclerosis Walk, which will take place April 11 in Seattle. The goal is to raise $1,800,000 for the greater Northwest area, and the Rock hopes to help with this effort.
On April 13, the Rock will hold another fund-raiser to benefit Penny Creek Elementary, with the money being used toward general school supplies.
In 2009, the Rock helped raise over $30,000 for local school programs, sports teams and booster groups through fund-raising efforts across its 10 locations. This year, they are hoping to raise even more for both these local groups and the community.
