Candidates interested in filing for any of the 331 positions open for election in King County this year may file online or in person for office May 13 – 17. King County Elections encourages candidates to file online, which is the easiest and most efficient method.
The public is invited to meet Yolanda Cortinas Trout, a candidate for Auburn City Council, Position 4, at a pre-election party on Saturday, May 5. The events runs from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the Rainier Room, second floor of the Truitt Building, 102 W. Main St., Auburn.
The SEATTLE KingCounty REALTORS® have announced an early candidate endorsement for Nancy Backus for Auburn mayor. Sam Pace of SEATTLE KingCounty REALTORS® presented the endorsement last Sunday.

Auburn mayoral candidate Scot Pondelick will meet and greet the public from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 26, at the Auburn Library, 1102 Auburn Way S.
Among her goals for the next four years: “Reinvent” Viking Avenue, redevelop the old city hall site in downtown Poulsbo, continue to improve the health of Liberty Bay, and maintain open spaces in neighborhoods.
All told, 83 positions from 40 municipalities and governing districts are on the ballot in Kitsap County this year. North Kitsap residents will vote on 21 of those positions.
