Renton Police are looking for any information on suspects involved in an armored car robbery Thursday morning in downtown Renton.

At approximately 11:08 a.m. Thursday, a suspect stole an undisclosed amount of cash from an armored vehicle while it was parked at 200 S 3rd Street in Renton. The driver of the armored car saw the suspect walking away from the back of the vehicle; it was later discovered that cash was missing from the armored car.

The suspect's photo was obtained from a store security camera; police describe him as a black male, 30-40 years old, 5'8" to 5'10", wearing a black jacket, blue or black jeans, a black and white scarf, and mirrored wire-rimmed sunglasses.

A possible suspect vehicle is described as a newer black sedan, possibly a BMW or a Mercedes, with shiny rims.

Anyone who observed the crime or has information about the case is asked to call the Renton Police Department at 425-430-7500 and reference case 14-5125.
