Interim Coupeville superintendent resigns, new to be appointed

The Coupeville School District Board of Directors will hold a special meeting 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8 to accept current interim superintendent Karen Koschack's resignation and appoint a new interim superintendent. Koschak submitted a resignation citing a family medical emergency.

During the meeting the board will adopt the necessary resolutions to appoint Gerald W. Jenkins as interim superintendent so he can authorize and execute normal operations on behalf of the district.More information will be reported as it becomes available.
