Enumclaw police officers arrested two suspects in the library parking lot at about 1 p.m. today, Jan. 6.
According to a police spokesman, officers acted on two separate incidents. The two were not directly related although the suspects knew one another. The first suspect was arrested for vehicle prowl; information led police to believe he was in the public library, where he was arrested.
Investigation apparently made police aware of a drug supplier in the library parking lot. Once a drug transaction was completed - a deal overseen by an Enumclaw Police Department narcotics officer - the suspected drug supplier was arrested.
The arrests were made with police guns drawn, but without incident. The suspects were handcuffed and taken to the police station for processing.
