Part of state Route 410 will close tonight for the second half of the construction project that began Thursday.

Drivers are being warned of a detour in place tonight, Tuesday, beginning at 10 p.m.

Contractors will be grinding down a foot of the top layer of the roadway fill installed last week and then will pave the area with a foot of asphalt in the area between Main Street/Sky Island Drive and the Target.

A detour will be in place that will route east bound traffic from SR 410 onto Veterans Memorial Drive to 192nd Ave East (past Target) and then back onto SR 410. The same detour route will be used for west bound SR410 traffic starting at 192nd Ave.

Local/Emergency Responder traffic access to Sky Island Drive and Downtown commercial businesses:

· East Bound local traffic will be allowed access Sky Island Drive from SR410.

· West Bound traffic will need to use the detour at 192nd Ave and then left onto SR410 from Veterans Memorial Way.

· Main Street will be closed from the Day Care Center driveway to SR410.

The work is scheduled to be completed by 5 a.m. Wednesday and the road will be open in time for the morning commute.
