A Bothell woman has been confirmed among the dead in an eastern Oregon bus crash last weekend.
Chun Ho Bahn, 63, of Bothell is among nine people who died when a tour bus went off a highway near Pendleton, Ore. last weekend, said Oregon State Police spokesperson Lt. Gregg Hastings on Thursday.
The woman's husband Youn Bahn, 66, of Bothell is being treated at St. Anthony Hospital in Pendleton.
Oun Hong Jung, 67, and his wife, Joong Wha Kim, 63, are also among the dead.
The couple were visiting family in Bothell. There is no information at this time whether the two couples knew each other.
Many on the bus were from Washington state, Vancouver, Cananda and South Korea.
The tour bus out of Vancouver is operated by Mi Joo Tour and Travel of British Columbia and was returning from Las Vegas, Nev. at the time of the crash.
It rolled nearly 100 feet down a hill after the bus driver lost control and crashed through a guard rail on Interstate 84.
The Oregon State Police and State Medical Examiner's Office are still attempting to contact the Korean Consulate, Consulate of Canada, and victims' families for their help during the process of positively identifying the victims and notifying next of kin.
Two more victims have yet to be identified.
