Another big day in store at the San Juan County Fair

Today is Kids Day at the San Juan County Fair — the second consecutive day of all-you-can-handle fair rides for a $20 wristband.

Other special features today: A band led by Steppenwolf keyboardist Goldy McJohn headlines at 7 p.m., preceded by a CD release performance by San Juan Island's own Devorah.

Here's today's fair schedule:

Today
11 a.m.:
— Predators of the Heart. Learn about the wonderful predators that keep nature in balance — big cats, birds, gators and more! (BBQ Stage)

Noon:
— The Carter Family Marionettes. Traditional Sicilian marionette theater featuring “Cinderella” (BBQ Stage)
— Ian Byington. Oldies folk and rock (Main Stage)

1 p.m.:
— Six Inch Voices. Acoustic, Indie-folk music (Main Stage)

2 p.m.:
— Sugar on the Floor. Old Time Tunes (Main Stage)
Predators of the Heart. (BBQ Stage)

3 p.m.:
— Jim Nollman. Original music & readings (Main Stage)
— The Carter Family Marionettes, featuring “Cinderella” (BBQ Stage)

4 p.m.:
— Be Careful. Original Indie rock (Main Stage)
— Predators of the Heart. (BBQ Stage)

5 p.m.:
— Devorah. Special CD release performance, until 5:20 p.m. (Main Stage)
— One More Time Band. Big Band and Swing (Main Stage)
— Zucchini 500. 3rd Race (Skate Park)

6 p.m.:
— Uncle Otto. Old rock favorites and sweet harmonies (Main Stage)
— Horse Games (Main Arena)

7 p.m.:
— Goldy McJohn and Friendz. Founding keyboardist for Steppenwolf. Sounds of 1960s and 70s rock, until 9 p.m. (Main Stage)
