Dalton always does the right thing

Oct 08 2008

I am not a Kitsap County resident, so I won’t be voting in the Superior Court Judicial election in November.

Jeanette Dalton and Bruce Danielson are running for this position. I would like to offer my insight on one of the candidates.

I have known Jeanette Dalton for 27 years. In that span of time I have seen her:

• put herself through law school while working a full-time job;

• prosecute serious crime and ensure serious criminals were sent to prison;

• defend individuals who later became productive members of society; and,

• always, always, always, do the right thing.

Countless times over the past 27 years, I have witnessed Jeanette model the right way to be a citizen and expect the same from those around her. I have literally seen her help old ladies across the street.

Yet this same woman has stared down cold-blooded criminals and spearheaded their long stay in prison.

Jeanette’s legal credentials are available via her Web site: wwwdaltonforjustice.com.

Her extensive endorsements from the legal community can also be viewed there.

I believe this election provides the voters of Kitsap County an opportunity to choose a remarkable citizen to be their Superior Court Judge.

I urge you to consider Jeanette for this important position.
