SK man dies after motorcycle accident

Nov 22 2008

A 30-year-old Port Orchard man died Monday night, four days after being involved in an accident on his motorcycle, the Washington State Patrol reported.

According to the incident report, Hans David Bromm was westbound on Sedgwick Road driving a 2002 Kawasaki shortly before 6 p.m. on Nov. 13 when he attempted to pass two other vehicles in a no-passing zone.

Bromm then apparently lost control of his vehicle, crossed the opposite lane of travel and landed in a ditch. The driver slid and hit a traffic sign, breaking it.

He was then airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle after suffering internal injuries.

His motorcycle was removed from the roadway by a friend following the crash.

He was pronounced dead at Harborview on Nov. 17 shortly after 11 p.m.
