BSD seeking volunteers for Community Finance Committee

The Bremerton School District is looking for four to six additional volunteers to become members of the Community Finance Committee. This committee is made up of community members and tasked with providing the School Board suggestions and recommendations on the budget and allocation of resources. It meets monthly at the District Office and will begin meeting later this month to start planning for the 2010-11 budget.
Anyone interested in applying should call the Business Office at (360) 473-1031 or e-mail Ioanna Cossack. Applicants will be asked to fill out a very short application form and return it. Applications will be accepted through Nov. 13.
