What time is it?

Pizza Time.

Bob Sidhu opened Pizza Time on Fairgrounds Road in Bremerton in August and he said business continues to grow.

“It’s getting better all the time,” Sidhu said.

“It’s definitely progressing upward,” said Mandy Witty, Sidhu’s fiancée who helps run the pizza shop.

Sidhu, of Port Orchard, works at Boeing, but decided he wanted to open his first business.

Witty said a pizza shop was a pretty simple choice for Sidhu because he loves pizza.

“He loves pizza and basically that’s it,” she said. “He walked in the kitchen one day and that’s it.”

Sidhu said he and his brother-in-law were originally going to open Pizza Time together, but that didn’t go according to plan.

“My brother-in-law, he knew somebody that owned one and him and I decided to do this together, but he started working at the shipyard,” he said.

Sidhu and Witty said they didn’t know much about making pizzas, but Sidhu’s brother-in-law and others quickly taught them the ropes.

“It was a learning thing,” Sidhu said.

“Now look at you. You make quite a nice pizza,” Witty said to Sidhu with a smile.

Aside from pizza, Pizza Time sells calzones, salads and wings. Although Pizza Time offers carryout and delivery, but no restaurant seating, Witty said customers don’t seem to mind.

“We do a lot of carryout. People don’t have a problem with it,” she said.

Pizza Time is located at the corner of Fairgrounds Road and State Route 303. Sidhu said he had his eye on the location for a while.

“It’s a pretty good spot,” he said.

“You get customers coming from Silverdale and Bremerton and vice versa,” Witty added.

Sidhu said Pizza Time uses fresh dough, sauces and other ingredients to make pizzas.

He said the pizza franchise also offers the best prices. A large one-topping carryout pizza is $5.99 at Pizza Time restaurants.

“Every time somebody comes in they’re surprised,” Witty said.

Sidhu said Pizza Time uses cornmeal instead of oil, which makes a healthier pizza.

Although he makes pizza now on a daily basis, Sidhu said he could eat Pizza Time products all the time.

“Their sauce and dough is amazing,” he said. “I could eat this stuff everyday.”
