Poulsbo comprehensive plan available for review

An updated version of the city of Poulsbo's comprehensive plan is available for public viewing and comment.
The plan, drafted and released on Jan. 21, identifies guidelines, goals, policies and strategies for the future development of the City of Poulsbo and its Urban Growth Area.
The draft can be found at www.cityofpoulsbo.com. Hard copies are available at the Poulsbo Library and the Poulsbo Planning Department front counter. Also, CDs can be purchased at the Poulsbo Planning Department and a copy is available at Sound Reprographics at 19045 State Route 305.
The public may comment on the 2009 Draft Comprehensive Plan throughout the public hearing process. Written comments may be submitted to the Poulsbo Planning Department PO Box 98 Poulsbo, WA; in person at 19050 Jensen Way; or email at planninginfo@cityofpoulsbo.com. Oral testimony may be presented at the Planning Commission and City Council public hearings.
The Poulsbo Planning Commission public hearings are scheduled for July 28 and Aug. 4, 2009. City Council workshops are tentatively scheduled for Aug. 19 and 26. Additional City Council workshops and public hearing(s) are expected in September.
